Mildred Grider Ferrell, age 96, of Warren, AR passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home in Warren, AR. She was born March 22, 1925 in Vick, AR to the late Jesse Grider and Rita Stanfield Grider. She was the oldest member of Trinity Methodist Church.
She is also preceded in death by her husband; Owen Lecel Ferrell whom she married in 1944 and he passed away in 2002. Sons; Wayne Ferrell and Ronald Ferrell, brothers; Mack Grider, Charles Grider and Edward (Buddy) Grider, great niece; Amber Wilson and great nephew; Marc Embry.
Survivors include grandchildren; Kristy Spencer (Mark) of Warren, AR and Kim Langford (Cameron) of Warren, AR, great-grandchildren; Dana Reep (Cody), Julie Spencer (Kenny), Addison Langford and Avery Langford, great-great-grandchild; John-Austin Reep. Daughter-in-law; Julia Ferrell of Warren, AR and brother; Jerry Grider of Warren, AR and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Parker-Prospect Cemetery. Burial will be in Parker-Prospect Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
