Barbara Sue Gardner age 82, died September 3, 2021 at home. She was born November 4th 1938 in Warren, AR, a daughter of the late William Charlie Freer and Vera Luella West Freer. She retired from Warren Public Schools as a Cafeteria Supervisor for 32 years. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Warren. She is also preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Gardner, whom she married June 25th, 1958, her son Tommy Gardner, a sister Patricia Sinclair and 3 great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Gardner Jackson and spouse, Kevin, Vanceboro, NC. Five grandchildren, Jessica Ruccius, Emily Pivec, Tammy Lynn Street, Hugo Gonzalez and Jessica Carter. 11 great-grandchildren.
The family gathered at First Freewill Baptist Church at 11 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 6th in the fellowship hall to meet and greet friends.
Graveside service 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 6, 2021, visitation was 30 minutes prior, at Willoughby Cemetery in Warren, AR. Active pallbearers include Hugo Gonzalez, Brandon Carter, Justin Clark, Sammy West, Jessica Ruccius, and Dayton Street.
