Brunson students place flags at the Y in honor of the lives lost during September 11 and the war that followed

Students from Mrs. Mellisa Hopson’s fourth and fifth grade Brunson Elementary School Community Team arrived Friday morning, September 10, 2021 to place flags at the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County as a memorial honoring the lives lost during the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001, 20 years ago tomorrow. The flags were also placed in memory of the soldiers who gave their lives for the United States through the war that followed the September 11, 2001 attacks. The YMCA thanked Mrs. Hopson and her students for remembering our fallen heroes.

  1. I am so proud that the next generation of students are being taught to never forget the fallen of 9-11. Thank you Mrs. Hopson.
