Wilma Dean McClellan Thornton, age 80, of Warren, AR passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Little Rock, AR. She was born July 7, 1941 in Rison, AR to the late Alvin and Zelphia Mae Keith McClellan. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and worked at Warren Bank and Trust for many years.
Other than her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband; Billy Joe Thornton whom she married on January 5, 1963 and he passed away January 13, 2020.
She is survived by her sons; Keith Thornton of Warren, AR and Kevin Thornton and spouse Tonya of Hermitage, AR. Brother; James McClellan of Camden, AR, sisters; Wanda Carr of New Edinburg, AR and Martha Smith of Van Buren, AR and grandchildren; Kailey and Carleighjo.
Graveside service was 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Moseley Cemetery with Bro. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
