Banks celebrates annual Buck Fever Festival

Banks, Arkansas – Residents of Banks, Arkansas gathered near the Main Street area of town this past Saturday, November 13, 2021 to celebrate the Annual Buck Fever Festival.

Visitors to Banks’s annual festival that celebrates the opening of modern gun deer season in Arkansas were treated to an array of vendors, a fish fry, and the famous Buck Fever parade. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus were in attendance at the parade to meet the kids, the Warren JROTC marched in the parade, and live music was enjoyed by all. There was also a dog show contest, and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission brought its mobile aquarium to be on display. Even Smokey Bear made an appearance to promote forest fire prevention.
