After graduating from Warren High School, Warren, Arkansas, she moved to Little Rock to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was a cancer survivor herself. She was a loving mother to three children. During her life, she moved 14 times, lived in four states, and lived independently in her own home in Lewisville, Texas for the last 17 years of her life. Her handwork was beautiful: quilts, potholders, afghans and baby blankets. Virginia is survived by her two daughters and their husbands: Tom and Madeline Haynie of Flower Mound, TX and Bill and Teresa Laster of Craig, Colorado.
