Jonathan Edward Parker, 1979-2021

Jonathan Edward Parker age 42 of Hermitage, AR died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. He was born April 17, 1979 in Warren, AR a son of Preston Parker, Warren, AR and Carolyn Scroggins Wagnon, Hermitage, AR. He served in the Arkansas Army National Guard for 3 years, was an Iron Worker, Mechanic, a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of the Hermitage Public Schools. Also preceding him in death was his former spouse Sabrina Carrington and a sister Racheal Parker.

Survivors include his son, Jonathan “JC” Parker, Hermitage, AR who is stationed in Great-Lakes, Ill. A daughter Chelcie Grider, Hermitage, AR. A brother Frankie Parker, Hermitage, AR. and a sister Karen Dominey, Hermitage, AR. 5 Nephews and 3 Nieces, 6 great-nephews and 6 great-nieces.

Graveside services were 3:30PM Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Gravelridge Cemetery with Buddy Boykin and Don Smith officiating. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were “JC” Jonathan Parker, Cole Parker, Jeffery Parker, Easton Parker, James Herring, Richard Byrd, Carson Pennington and Justin White. Honorary pallbearers were Terry Groves, Michael Grider, Franklin Parker, Kelly Burson, Jerry Scroggins, Eddie Scroggins and Roger Scroggins.
