Jerry L. Thompson, 1962-2022

Jerry L. Thompson age 59 passed away at Regional Medical Center in San Jose, CA on January 6, 2022. He was born in Monticello, AR. He was the son of the late Alexander Thompson and Alice-Lewis Thompson. Jerry attended Warren High School and graduated in the class of 1980. He worked as Chef/ Manager for Bateman Elior Group for over 20 years. Cooking was his passion. He also operated his own catering business, Thompson BBQ & Catering until his death. Barbecue was his specialty but he catered weddings, reunions and many venues of events. He was married to Monique-Harris Thompson for 34 years. He leaves to forever cherish his memory his wife; and 8 children, Dominique, Erica, Alice, LaJada, Jabari, Faith, Lavelle, and Lyric Thompson; & 6 grandchildren. All of San Jose, CA. His trips to Arkansas always involved cooking for his family. He will be forever loved by his siblings ; Frances (Eddie) Hampton, Michael Thompson, Stacey Lockett, Gerry Thompson all of Warren, AR, and Anthony (Temia) Thompson of The Colony, Texas. He is endeared by many other relatives and friends. The family will have a private memorial service.
