Alyssa Higgins got the start in the circle for the Lady Jacks. She pitched 5 solid innings. Higgins struck out three while giving up four hits.

Warren was only able to get one base runner, Luci Woodard, on against what Lady Jack Coach Fielder Dufrene called the State’s best pitcher, Lillie Faye McWhorter of Woodlawn.

McWhorter struck out 15 while only walking one in route to throwing a no-hitter.

The Lady Jacks will face the Lady Bobcats of Dumas on Tuesday, March 1, in their home opener.
