Lighthouse Church moving to 104 East Cedar for services after fire

WARREN, Ark. – Officials with the ATF(Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) were on scene Monday, February 7, 2022 for a routine examination of the remains of the Lighthouse Church building which burned during the very early morning hours of Thursday, February 3.

No cause of the fire has been determined as of yet. However, it’s important to reemphasize that the ATF investigation of such fires is routine.

Pastor of Lighthouse Church, Vernon Colvin II, told Saline River Chronicle that while the loss of the building has been a shock, the members of Lighthouse are ready to worship together once again. They will be moving services to The Gathering Place at 104 East Cedar Street this coming Sunday, February 13, 2022. Services will start at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Colvin also told Saline River Chronicle that its important to remember the lasting impact the Church building had on the community. He wants people to remember what a beautiful place it was.
