Jason Fisher, 1971-2022

Jason’s life journey began on September 11, 1971, and ended on March 3, 2022, at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born to Georgia Fisher and the late Rev. Elihue Fisher. Jason confessed to Christ at an early age at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church where his current pastor is the Rev. Leron Woodard. He was employed for many years at Western Sizzilin and Nichol’s Salvage yard, here in Monticello.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Elihue Fisher.

Jason leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Georgia Fisher of Monticello; four brothers, Bryant Fisher of Bentonville, AR, Quincy Fisher of Monticello, AR, Marcus Fisher of Monticello, and Reggie Thomas of Fayetteville; and one uncle, Eddie McCoy of Monticello; as well as a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel in Monticello and be officiated by Rev. George Toney. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery on Midway Route in Monticello. Please be sure to sign Jason’s guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
