Ronnie Owens, 61, of Warren died March 20, 2022. Born May 17, 1960, he was a son of Willie Mae Owens and the late Vernell Owens. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and truly loved the Lord and Savior with all his heart.
Ronnie attended Castlemont High School in Oakland, California. He loved his family. He also loved to bar-b-que, play dominoes, socialize with friends and family. He was truly a people person.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents; two brothers and two sisters.
Ronnie is survived by his mother, Willie Mae Owens; five siblings, Larnell Owens, Anthony Owens, Faye Owens, Barbara Cason, Sharon Washington; god-sisters, Ruthie Utsey of California, Doris Ann Hickman of Texas; god-brother, John Utsey of Detroit, MI.; aunts, Shirley Patton of Warren, Annie Jean Ellis of California, Jennette Singleton, Johnnie Mae Willis both of Arkansas; uncles, Henry Rogers of Chicago, IL., Jerome Owens, Ralph Owens, Joe Paul Owens all of Arkansas; Danny Owens Jr. of California; a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was March 31 at Antioch Cemetery in Johnsville with Presiding Elder James R. Hooper officiating. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
