Bobby Dean “Joe” Johnson, 1954-2022

Bobby Dean ‘Joe’ Johnson, 67, of Little Rock, formerly of Warren, died April 17, 2022. Born April 19, 1954, he was a son of the late Leroy and Earnestine Broughton and the late Al Johnson.

Bobby was brought up in the church and accepted Christ later in life. He attended St. James AME Church. He received his formal education in the New Edinburg Public School. He was the best master of upholstery in Warren, Fordyce, Little Rock, Kansas City, Kansas and Washington, DC area.

He was also preceded in death by his sister Dianne Hartley.

He is survived by his siblings, his twin Barbara Johnson, Roy Lee Broughton, Pattie Johnson (Earnest), Kent J. Broughton (Rossia), Ab Broughton, Jocelyn Edwards (Nathaniel), Mia Fields, Keith Johnson; son, Miels Munyan; daughter, Jennifer Johnsons; grandchildren, Imani Munyan, Carmelo Turner, Richalde Bouldin Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 22 at St. James AME Church in Warren with Presiding Elder Kent J. Broughton officiating/eulogist. Burial in St. John Cemetery, New Edinburg. Arrangements: Hammons Funeral Home. Visitation Thursday 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Hammons Funeral Home.
