Jonalyn Reep presented the prelude and postlude on piano. The Rev. Ricky Rauls, church pastor, gave the welcome and prayer. Special music was provided by Benjamin Payne, 11, of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church.

The message was given by the Rev. Richard Barley of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church, based on Matthew 27:22. He said Pontius Pilate asked, “What do you want me to do with this one called Christ,” and the crowd answered, “Crucify him.”

“I’m so grateful for those hard-headed chief priests and elders. We have the anointing in our hearts and our lives. When the Lord’s in the center, everything works out. Why were they intent on having him crucified? So God’s will would be fulfilled,” he said.

Luci Woodard of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes gave the benediction.

A chicken spaghetti meal was served after the service.

The services will conclude at noon Friday at First Assembly of God with the Rev. John Gaskin of First Baptist Church as speaker.
