Senior striker Bailey Herring opened Warren’s account just six minutes in as she broke free through on goal, putting the ball into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.

Two minutes later Herring missed a glorious chance, rounding the keeper but pushing the shot left of goal. Herring was far from done terrorizing the Mills back four.

Leslie Vega picked up an assist just a minute later as she released Herring with a wonderful through ball. Herring put together a tidy finish to make it 2-0 Lady Jacks.

Tessa Andrus got in on the action in the twenty-first minute scoring her first of the afternoon. She added Warren’s fourth three minutes later.

Mills did pull a goal back seconds afterwards, but Herring restored the Lady Jack cushioned lead late in the first half with the completion of her hat-trick. Warren led 5-1 at the midway point.

Five minutes into the second half Herring scored her fourth goal of the night. She rounded out an incredible night of her own a minute later with a fifth.

Head coach Cody Jones made a few changes late-on. Goalkeeper Valerie Navarro moved to the opposite end of the pitch to play striker. She found the back of the net with a nice finish in the sixty-third minute.

The Lady Jacks won by the final of 8-1 over Little Rock-Mills.

They next host Hamburg Friday at 5:00 p.m.
