Robert C. Laster, age 78 of Warren, AR passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 11, 1943 in Shreveport, LA to the late Carl and Odell Laster. Robert was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was inducted into the Lumberjack Hall of Fame in 2015.
Survivors include his loving wife, Laverne Evans Laster whom he married on November 26, 1970; two daughters, Laurie Laster of Warren, AR and Glenda Schwebel and spouse Don of Warren, AR. Four grandchildren, Lauren Williams and spouse Jonathan, Kelsi King and spouse Dakota, Jeff Cathey and spouse Holly and Joey Cathey and spouse Cassidy and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Bro. David Inzer and Bro. Rocky Goodwin officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jonathan Williams, Dakota King, Joey Cathey, Jeff Adams, Mike Thomas and Roger Lepord.
