Wessie Ann (Jones) Funderburk, age 96 of Little Rock, AR passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 14, 1926 in Beulah, AR to the late Ercell Milton Jones and Wille Mae Wright Jones. She was a retired switchboard operator and was a faithful Christian attending TAG Church of Little Rock, First Assembly of God Pine Bluff, Forest Park Assembly of God of Pine Bluff, First Assembly of God Monticello and First Assembly of God Warren.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Funderburk; brothers, Grady Jones, Eddie Mac Jones, Cecil Jones, Dewey Jones and Bobby Rae Jones and sisters, Winnie Rodgers, Louise Fincher, Ruth Roberts and Ruby Jones.
Survivors include her sons, Charles Funderburk of Clinton, NC and Gregory (Joan) Funderburk of Fenton, MO; grandchildren, Charles (Holly) Funderburk, II of Little Rock, AR, Allen (Olivia) Funderburk, II of Sheridan, AR, John Scott (Megan) Funderburk of Little Rock, AR and Patrick (Samantha) Funderburk of Hot Springs, AR; great-grandchildren, Heidi, MaKenzie, Brody, Morgan and Karsen; brother, Melton Jones of Monticello, AR and sisters, Dollie Moore of Little Rock, AR and Shirley Stone of Monticello, AR. Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Bales officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
