Jimmy Harrell Howard, Jr. age 62 of Camden, AR went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He was born January 12, 1960 in Dumas, AR.
He is preceded in death by his father; Jimmy Harrell Howard, Sr., stepfather; Eustis Austin and twin grandbabies.
Survivors include his wife; Wanda Harrelson Howard of Camden, AR whom he married on June 2, 1979, sons; Jesse Eric Howard and spouse Candace of Monticello, AR and Dustin Mark Howard and spouse Chelsea of Franklin, TN, mother; Glenda Appleberry Howard Austin of McGehee, AR, sister; Teresa Howard Dunn and spouse Lee of Mountain Home, AR and grandchildren; Audrey, Stella Lu and Fallon along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was a member and Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Camden, AR where he served the Lord faithfully, taught Sunday School and coached Upward basketball. He loved spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, tinkering in his shop, fishing, was an accomplished artist, and he loved watching and talking about the Hogs.
Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church in Camden, AR with Bro. Don Phillips officiating. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery in Bradley County, AR by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Matt Harrelson, Chris Harrelson, Kevin Harrelson, Jesse Dunn, Scott James, Adam O’Dell, Christian Rodriguez, Brent Black, Tyler Pickett and Mason Thomas. Honorary pallbearers were Patrick Harrelson, Daniel Harrelson, Mason Stone, Ben Field, Wes O’Hara, Tyler McAdoo, Josh Castleberry, Mike Murphy, Jeff Childress, Mark Williams, John Hodges, Billy Sasser, Mark Bird, Tommy Gribbon, Rocky Sullivan, Richard Morrison, Bennett Hopkins, Mike Johnson and Jimmy Doherty.
