‘No big changes’ in the forecast

The National Weather Service says that “no big changes are in the forecast to end August and begin September.” Temperatures are expected to be at or slightly below normal in Bradley County and South Arkansas. We will continue to see above average precipitation over the coming week or so.

A 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the morning.

A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
