Pamela Ann Trammell, 1944-2022

Pamela Ann Trammell, age 77 of Kingsland, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at her home. She was born November 29, 1944 in Vernon Texas.

She was a retired business owner, a successful entrepreneur and bookkeeper.  She was an active historian for the family and local area, and served on the board for Shady Grove Cemetery for many years.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, crafting, and most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clova Nell Miller and Sidney Howard Miller, her sister Sidney Gail Cox, her brother Phillip Richard Page, and great granddaughter Raegan Dalton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Rex Trammell, her daughters Mary Lou Hyde, Lyslie Trammell and Barbie Trammell (Tim Jones), and son Steve Trammell (Kathy).

She had a loving group of grandchildren including Randall Hyde, Christopher Hyde, Mandy Dalton, Brandon Dalton, Rusty Johnston, Dustin Quimby, Trinia Quimby, Amber Trammell, Abby Trammell, Winston Trammell, Breck Trammell, Mason Trammell, James Jones, Jessica Jester, and multiple great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Matthews officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Dustin Quimby, Tim Jones, Boo Moring, Mason Trammell, Breck Trammell and Rusty Johnston. Honorary pallbearers were Vester Thompson and Robert McDaniel.
