James Aubrey Huddleston, 1934-2022

James Aubrey Huddleston, age 88 of the Macedonia Community passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at home. He was born July 25, 1934 in New Edinburg, AR to the late Charles Edward Huddleston and Mae McClellan Huddleston. He was a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church and a Mason.

Other than his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Janet Barker Huddleston whom he married on January 10, 1955 and she passed away on April 25, 2010; brothers, Maurice Huddleston, Leonard Huddleston, John Huddleston and Ellis Bryant and sisters, Ila B. Maxwell, Libby Fisher, Lou Ella Thompson, Myrle Wolfe, Martha Stafford, Mattie Vaughn and Sallie Mae Wolfgang.

Survivors include sons, Danny Steven Huddleston and wife Melinda of New Edinburg, AR, Barry Keenan Huddleston and wife Regina of New Edinburg, AR and Marty Kevin Huddleston and wife Teresa of Woodlawn, AR; sister, Mildred Genn and husband Clayton of Kingsland, AR; grandchildren, Starla Michels (Joachim), Brent Huddleston (Brandy), Shana Henderson (Shaun), Sara McDougald (Zack) and Chelsi Bates (Charlie) and fourteen great-grandchildren.Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Richardson officiating. Burial was in Reaves Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Mark Weeks, Terry Barker, Easton Sinclair, Reese Michels, Jeremy Grider, Boo Moring, Daniel Thompson and Carl Shaffer. Honorary pallbearers were Vester Thompson, Franklin McClellan and John L. McClellan. Memorials may be made to Reaves Cemetery (Randy Thompson; 700 Reaves Cemetery Rd., New Edinburg, AR 71660).
