Second half clawback not enough as Jacks lose season opener

DUMAS, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjack Men’s Basketball team tipped off their 2022/23 season campaign Thursday night, December 15 against Dumas at the Dumas Holiday Classic Tournament, falling to the Bobcats by the final of 67-48.

Thursday’s game was the late-night premiere match of the opening day of the Holiday Classic Tournament, with a loud Dumas home crowd on hand to watch. The Lumberjack roster features ten team members, only three of which didn’t compete in football in 2022. In other words Warren’s team is still working to get into basketball shape just a few weeks out from the end of the Lumberjack football season.
