Warren native Daniel Mondragon returns to Arkansas Wolves FC for 2023 season

BENTON, Ark. – Daniel Mondragon, a Warren native and former Lumberjack Soccer standout star, has announced his return to the Arkansas Wolves Football Club after a successful rookie season in 2022. The Semipro team announced the news on Saturday, March 25, 2023, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled to see Mondragon back in action.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the Wolves team,” Mondragon shared. “Also grateful for this opportunity. I’m eager to work with my teammates and excited to see what we can accomplish this season!”

Founded in 2018, Arkansas Wolves FC is a soccer club that represents some of the best talent in Arkansas. With three teams, including a Men’s first team that plays in the prestigious NPSL, a Women’s first team that plays in the UWS Division 1, and a second Men’s team that plays in the UPSL, the Wolves provide affordable and high-level training and playing opportunities for players across the state and beyond.

Wolves also have a Players Development Academy (PDA), which models the developmental paths of successful clubs around the world and provides additional training and match opportunities for players at other clubs. The program kicked off in February 2020 and has already shown great success in developing young talent in the Central Arkansas area.

Mondragon is no stranger to success on the soccer field. He was named MVP of the 2018 4A State Championship and scored a brace in Warren’s 2-0 win over Berryville to win the title. He is a legend of the Warren Lumberjack Soccer Club and has already made a name for himself as a standout player for Wolves.

A great opportunity to watch Mondragon in action comes in May. Wolves are set to travel to Little Rock on May 10 for a friendly match against Little Rock Rangers at War Memorial Stadium. Fans can’t wait to see what the team, led by Mondragon, can accomplish this season. With his impressive track record and dedication to the sport, Mondragon is sure to be a valuable asset to the Wolves as they continue to represent the best of Arkansas soccer.
