MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks proved their mettle on the gridiron once again as they emerged victorious in the highly anticipated 2023 Mulerider 7on7 Shootout. The tournament, held at Southern Arkansas University’s Rip Powell Field, saw the Lumberjacks go head-to-head with some of the region’s top football teams.
Warren won their final game over North Desoto 47-30 to take the title.
Sponsored by Farmers Bank & Trust, the tournament features a fast-paced, seven-on-seven format that emphasizes passing and receiving skills, allowing teams to hone their aerial attack and defensive coverage.
With the 2023 Lumberjack Football season just around the corner, the Mulerider 7on7 Shootout offered Warren an invaluable opportunity to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead. Their upcoming regular season kicks off at home in Jim Hurley, Jr. Stadium on August 17. The Lumberjacks will face off against the Fordyce Redbugs.
