Warren JROTC Cadets take part in air rifle contest

Eleven JROTC Cadets from Warren High School traveled to White Hall High School Saturday, September 25 to participate in an air rifle marksmanship contest. The contest was sponsored by White Hall but assisted by the Warren High Cadets. Warren no longer has air rifles but has since added archery, becoming the initial Army JROTC program to start an archery program. Range operations, though different from air rifles will be needed. The schools that participated in the air rifle competition included: Newport, Rivercrest, and the host White Hall. The students from WHS that participated in the range operations were: Aaliyah Walton, Katina Bailey, Ariya Williams, Michelle McCartney, Jimmy Luster, Felicity Crockett, Ja’Maya Patton, Tanner Outlaw, Addison McDougald, and Cadet Commander Ashlyn Broughton along with AI 1SG Chad Greenwood and SAI CPT Johnny M. Brown.
