Roosevelt Louis Gray, 1950-2021

Roosevelt Louis Gray, 71, of Warren, died October 23, 2021. Born September 18, 1950, he was a son of the late Georgia Black and Louis Gray. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Warren, where he was ordained a deacon on November 12, 2000 and again as a minister on April 26, 2006. His first sermon was titled, “Do You Know Who Jesus Is?” He was a driver for SEAT transportation.

Roosevelt is survived by his wife of 25 years, Felicia Gray; daughters, Chanta Wells (Timothy), Latoya Faulkner (Cameron) of Little Rock, Mykarsha Gray of Toledo,OH., Ka’Misha Davis, Sha’Nequa Gray of Monticello; siblings, Gloria Dickenson of Monroe, LA., Charles Harris of Eudora, Freddie Gray of Lake Village; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was held on October 30th at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Warren with Rev. Eddie Hampton Sr. officiating. Burial was in Hampton Cemetery in Johnsville. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
