Nancy G. Thompson Nichols age 74, of Rye, AR died Monday, December 27, 2021 at the St. Vincent’s Hospital in Hot Springs, AR.
She was born August 8th, 1947 in Cleveland County AR in the Macedonia Community, a daughter of the late Marvin Thompson and Minnie Lee Dyer Thompson. She spent many years working for Jack Winters and LaDonna Sportswear, was a babysitter and a farmer. She was a graduate of the Warren Public School System and a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death is a sister Virginia “Missy” Martin.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Dean Nichols, whom she married February 17th 1967. A daughter Penny Pyle and spouse David, Doddridge, AR, son Tracy Nichols and spouse Monica, Warren, AR, brother Kenneth Thompson and spouse Scarlet, Warren, AR and sister Wilmar Adair, Warren, AR. 2 grandchildren, Ethan Pyle and Haisley Nichols.
Funeral services 2:00pm Wednesday, December 29th 2021 at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Union Cemetery at Rye by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bill Young, Bob Young, Bryan Young, Greg Bradley, Danny Adair, and Jimmy Dale Adair.
