Recently, City Hall in Hermitage welcomed a special visitor. Former Hermit football player Kenneth Poole stopped by and spent some time in town and with Mayor Kendrix. After a standout high school career, Mr. Poole went to college at Louisiana-Monroe and then was the fifth round pick of the Miami Dolphins in 1981. He played several years for the Dolphins and enjoyed a successful career.
