New Beginnings director Chris Dickie speaks to Warren Rotary

The Warren Rotary Club met for their weekly meeting on Tuesday, April 19 at Noon inside the Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church. The Rotarians heard from three of the Warren Junior Rotarians before Rotarian Carlton Davis introduced his program of Chris Dickie, who is the director of New Beginnings. Dickie spoke about his own personal battles with addiction in his younger days before he continued with his work experience. He founded Natural State Recovery Centers in 2018, which offers therapy, recovery housing, and life skills training in the old Oak Grove High School in Little Rock. He’s excited to get to work with New Beginnings and already has some plans for the facility, which serves 10 counties in the region. Dickie indicated they are in the process of trying to secure grant funding to help with these projects. He closed with answering a few questions from the crowd.
