House on North Myrtle sustained significant damage in Friday storm, + more storm damage photos from around Warren

As the rains passed through South Arkansas Friday and Saturday, the extent of the damage from Friday morning’s severe thunderstorm became even more apparent, as a large pine tree was found to have fallen on a home on North Myrtle Street in Warren.

Situated at the corner of Bond and Myrtle, the home’s roof was taken out by massive pine with was uprooted during the torrential rain and wind storm that hammered the area June 10.

Trees and power lines were down on Bradley Street in Warren Friday. The following photos were submitted by Toni Fisher, whose home is on the corner at 401 E. Cedar Street. Power was knocked out at that location for a short time.
