Jo Ann Jeffcoat Outlaw, 1940-2022

Jo Ann Jeffcoat Outlaw, age 81, of Warren, AR departed for her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is home with her Lord and Savior. Jo Ann was born August 16, 1940 in Ft Chaffee, AR to Luie D. & Agatha Jeffcoat. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years Almer Edward Outlaw, sister Betty Johnson, great grandson Kenneth Westerbur Jr., and grand son-in-law Jason Edward Langley. Jo Ann and Almer were married September 1, 1956, and made their home in Warren. She was a beautician for almost 60 years. She owned and operated Jo Ann’s Beauty Salon. Almer & Jo Ann were members of First Freewill Baptist for many years where they were avid workers for our Lord. After his passing she attended Faith Freewill Baptist. Where continued to serve. She taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. If Jo Ann wasn’t at church or the salon she was with her family on the farm, hunting or fishing. She was an avid outdoorsman. She would stay all day on a deer stand and shoot at anything that walked out! Shel oved her family with everything she had. But more than her family she loved the Lord. She wanted everyone to know and believe in Jesus Christ and trust Him as their Savior. She was a great witness for the Lord. Survivors include her brother Howard (Sonny) Jeffcoat, son David E. Outlaw, and daughter Belinda (Randy) Cauley. Grandchildren Amanda Jo Outlaw, Lewis Barton (Bart) Outlaw, Carrie Cauley-Langley, Michael (Brittany) Cauley. Great-grandchildren Jacob Strickland, Randy Strickland, Courtney Outlaw, Swayzie Grace Langley, Charles Edward Langley, Elizabeth Cauley, Isaiah Cauley, Sophia Cauley, and Landon Cauley. Nephews Rick (Ann) Jeffcoat, Mark Jeffcoat, Mike (Lora) Jeffcoat, Lane Jeffcoat, and niece Vickie Najem. Along with a host of family and friends.Funeral service was 2:00 PM Friday, June,3rd at Frazer’s Chapel with Bro. Max Williams and Bro. Wayne Wesson officiating. Carrie Cauley Langley gave the eulogy and Cindy Miller was the musician.  Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers are Tracy Savage, Jacob Wood, Mike Miller, Sam Griffin, Randy Outlaw, Calvin Outlaw, Wayne Wesson and TJ Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Harmon, Wayne Griffin, Gary Don Jones, Bro. Billy Wilson, Bill Perry, Tracy Nichols, Keith Outlaw, Mac McClain, Dr. Dichelle George, Jimmy Massey and Faith Freewill Baptist Church.
