During the monthly meeting of the Hermitage School Board, held July 11, 2022 the board voted to hire Cody Jones as Boys’ Head Soccer Coach and to serve as the soccer AD. Mr. Jones will also fill the position of assistant girls soccer coach. The board then voted to approve Tim Whitney as Head Girls Soccer Coach and to be the assistant boys coach.
In other business the board approved the financial report and the payment of monthly bills. Reports were given on the American Rescue Plan and a motion was approved for a Resolution for Employee Disclosure Notification for Madison Vines. Board member Gary Vines left the meeting during consideration and the vote on the Resolution.
The board approved changes to the Parent/Student Handbook for the 2022-2023 school year.
Next, the members approved a request for a legal transfer and out of state travel for cheer camp to the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
The final action was approval to hire a part time worker for the Superintendent’s Office.
The next scheduled board meeting is set for August 8, 2022 at 6:00pm.
