Joe Bradford, 1946-2022

Joe Bradford age 76, of Banks, AR died Monday. July 25th 2022 at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born February 10th, 1946 in Warren, AR a son of the late Edward Bradford and Iver Carter Bradford.

Joe was a retired employee with Potlatch- Deltic Timber Company with 38 years of service as a timber man where he cruised tracks of timber for the company.  Joe was well known for he and Alice Faye dedicated service to the Arkansas Children Hospital, with the Backwoods Trailride they spearheaded for many years.  He was avid fisherman, loved deer hunting and the deer camp friends, he was a Baptist and a 1965 graduate of the Banks Public Schools. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Bradford and his infant sister Judy Bradford.

Surviving is his wife Alice Faye McMurry Bradford, whom he married February 4th, 1966. A daughter Kristi Sarlo and spouse Jayson, Mabelvale, AR. 2 grandchildren Dyllon Sarlo and spouse Ashlei and Alyson Webb and spouse Billy. 4 great-grandchildren Wrenley Webb, Aubrey Webb, Kailyn Dewitt and Konley Sarlo.Funeral services were 2:00PM Saturday, July 30th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayne Wesson and Dewey Rhodes officiating. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Curt Dees, Steve Laws, Chuck Laneheart, French Wynne, Kyle Sarlo and Jimmy Hearnsberger. Honorary pallbearers were Herschell Tillman, John David Tillman, Ricky Loomis, Bill David Jarvis, Chris Tillman, Thomas Perryman, Elton Evans and Dewey Rhodes.
