  1. I don’t understand the police in Warren at all Pizza Hut getting robbed every time you turn around and they’re worried about marijuana and a handgun in a store yeah they didn’t have their license but I would have a handgun in my store that I ran because every other store had been getting robbed

  2. Warren isn’t what it used to be. Take a look at the job situation, poor leadership. What else is there to do in town besides commit crime and get into trouble. This isn’t the Warren of the 80’s that’s for sure. I look for Warren to look similar to McGehee or Fordyce in 10-15 years. Especially since the community is heck bent on spending, eating, and doing all their business in Monticello. Don’t want to upset the folks wanting to do it how papaw and mamaw used to do it.

    1. I don’t know what it was like in the 80s because I did not live here but I know that right now Warren is an embarrassment for all the money their supposed to be in this region, I don’t understand why it looks the way it does, the streets are in the poorest conditions i’ve ever seen and I’ve traveled across the United States, it’s a shame and embarrassment when you go down Main Street how raggedy the streets are. Warren has money, the money spent at City Hall renovations could have surely fix the streets. I see City workers riding 4 deep hanging out after they’re rideing they might drop some Asphalt in a hole stamp over it a couple of times and within 3-4 months it needs to be redone again, they call themselves fixing Cook Street it’s terrible, we need to hire somebody to teach them how to repair holes in the street and while there hiring somebody to teach them they need to rehire Henry Lee to teach them how to use the equipment and how to keep the ditches clean, if the ditches were cleaned properly then
the water would drain and erosion wouldn’t be aa bad. I’m not even talking about those bricks on Main Street whoever’s idea that was they were really a poor leader, why would you put bricks on a street in a city that’s so inundated with water that’s causing erosion of the Earth, just look at the broken curving on I63 going to Pinebluff, the curving us falling in. Look at all that money put into a gun range that does not benefit the people, who agreed on, I’m sure they’re not going to let all the people come in there with their guns to practice. The City is dying, we need new age minded leaders, interested in prosperity not the way those old folks did it. Thanks for letting me vent, a concerned tax payer.

  3. Oooo lawd not THC! .
Seriously… I know there is plenty of meth labs …in town.
But our police is gonna stress over THC.
Geez you guys need to get y’all’s priorities straight..
Do you want your kid smokin meth or weed..
Do you want your kid drinking alcohol or smoking weed.. it’s literally just weed. And OMG ? it’s a firearm guys! Better include that too. Because y’all are so proud of yourselves. Maybe bust some dope dealers and meth labs next time…nvm I forgot Thomas Miller was back on the force.
