Match 2

Jasmine Welton and Camryn McGough proved to be a dominant duo for a majority of the set, bringing down multiple kills each throughout it’s entirety. Following a last minute effort from the Dragons, the Blossoms would score the final two points of the set, taking the win 25-15.

Set two began a little more balanced. UAM was once again the first team on the board, but Lane held their own as the set continued. With a 7-6 lead, the Blossoms began making their move, taking two 4-0 runs, followed by a handful of back-to-back points to increase their lead to 19-10. A third four point stretch for Monticello would eventually give them a second 25-15 win.

The third and final set seemed to be an even more balanced match-up than set two. Both teams were unable to pull ahead in the first half of the match as the score settled at 12-11 with the Blossoms on top. A wave of offensive power found the home team as they strung together multiple points, taking the set 25-16, and the match 3-0.
