Dorothy Mae Thomas Jackson, age 76 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Robinson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Little Rock, AR. She was born on August 21, 1946 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Lesley Thomas and Leola Jackson. She was a homemaker and attended St. James AME Church in Warren while she lived in Warren and in her later years she attended House of Bread Deliverance Church in Pine Bluff, AR.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene Jonise and Armond Jonise and sister, Mary Hickberson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories sons, Robert Jackson, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO and David Jackson of San Diego, CA; daughters, Darlene Jackson Hines and husband Quentin Hines, Sr. of Pine Bluff, AR and Rosalyn Jackson of Russellville, AR; sisters, Leola Jackson of San Diego, CA, Betty Ransom of Baton Rouge, LA and Eula Ricks of Baton Rouge, LA and four grandchildren, Takayla Nolen, Quentin Hines, II, Destiny Hines and D’Aundre Hines.
A celebration of life was held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at St. James AME Church in Warren, AR. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery in Warren, AR. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren, AR.
