A discussion was held about setting up a special events committee to assist Hamilton.

Steve Mahanes and Ricky Rodriguez of AHF volunteered to help the Chamber decorate the gazebo and bridge at Warren City Park for Christmas.

Cutting boards were received and will be distributed to Chamber members.

A Christmas tree ordered by the Chamber has not arrived yet.

White reported that Save The Children has offered to provide items to the Chamber to distribute to those in need in the county. Items will include small household appliances, diapers, sanitizing wipes and other items. Those requesting items will have to fill out a form at the Chamber.

The Chamber’s request for $20,000 in funding in the Warren city budget was discussed. Warren City Council was to meet Monday night to consider a contract with the Chamber and adoption of the budget. The results of that meeting will be reported elsewhere in the Saline River Chronicle.
