Boswell is a member of West Central Church of Christ.

Janice Nelson will be the new city clerk.

Mayor Denisa Pennington noted that both her and Boswell were graduates in the Warren High School Class of 1972. Both also share the same birthday.

“I would have never made it without her,” Pennington said.

Martin noted that in 2005, Potlatch downsized Boswell’s job. She came into Martin’s Department Store while he was running for mayor and he promised her that if he was elected, she could be his administrative assistant.

“I appreciate your sense of honesty and integrity. Helen’s an encourager,” he said.

Boswell said, “I have so enjoyed working with you guys for 17 years. It was a joy and privilege to work with Bryan.”
