A friend sent this to me. As I see this picture and story, I just cannot help to understand why the kids of Warren high can’t have new and updated facilities at the high school level. I sincerely hope that going forward, the high school isn’t going to be patch work from a destructive fire. I look around at other schools(Nashville, Star City, Drew Central) with populations much smaller than Warren’s and their facilities are much nicer than the school I graduated from. I’m so very happy that the elementary kids will be out of that relic they were in(that school was old as all get out when I was there in the 90’s) and I’m glad that there is the new middle school as well. I am INCREDIBLY thankful that the district finally will have a new gym instead of playing in that embarrassment of a gym(it was an embarrassment in my days in the district up until graduation in 2003).

No, I don’t live in town anymore. I left in 2012 so I’m sure I have no room to complain or no one cares about my opinion. That’s fine. But as a PROUD Warrenite and proud alum of ole WHS, I sincerely hope the great kids of Warren get nice facilities in their high school. It’s time.
