Re-sodding underway on Bradley County Courthouse grounds

WARREN, Ark. – The Bradley County Courthouse grounds have begun a process of resodding following damage caused by the raising of the courthouse clocktower. The new grass was delivered on Wednesday, with a portion of the south side completed the same day.

The project has been expedited with the help of an Arkansas Department of Corrections prisoner crew, who are assisting with the resodding process. The entire project is part of the final process of the courthouse renovations.

The courthouse clocktower had to be raised using heavy equipment and cranes, which caused damage to the grounds late last year. The resodding is necessary to restore the area to its former condition and ensure it remains an attractive and functional space for the community.

In addition to the resodding, lights have been installed in the tower, making the newly renovated structure even more impressive, particularly at night.

The Bradley County Courthouse is an historic building that has undergone extensive renovations to ensure its preservation for future generations. The resodding of the grounds is just one of the final touches on this important project.

The community is encouraged to visit the courthouse and admire the newly renovated structure and grounds. The project is a testament to the importance of preserving our history and ensuring that our community spaces remain functional and beautiful for years to come.
