Charles Kenton Measel, age 70, of Hermitage, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023. He was born August 29, 1952 in Warren, Arkansas to Charles Denton and Bettye Knowles Measel. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Mary “Nenda” Burchfield and Debbie Jones.
Kent was a deacon at Moro Bay Baptist Church and a member of William Primm Hunting Club. He operated heavy equipment all of his life. He never met a stranger, so he was always surrounded by friends and family that he loved dearly.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Nancy Measel; children, Bart Measel, Eric Corker and wife Jamie, Mistie McGhee and husband David, and TJ Hollis; grandchildren, Austin Measel, Madison McGhee, Alan McGhee, Ericca Corker, and Gavin Measel; mother-in-law, Martha Jo Smith; and former wives, Rhonda Bolin and Mary Thornton.
Pallbearers: Dillion Smith, Russell Smith, Justin Baker, Riley Baker, Josh Baker, and Daniel Sellers. Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Davis, Jimmy Dale Camp, Johnny Bob Waterfield, Mike Brown, Roger Smith, Donnie Smith, Dan Jones, Sam Baker, Allen Primm, and William Primm Deer Camp Guys.
Graveside service was 3:00pm, Friday, April 28, 2023 at Hilo Cemetery under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home.
