Holy Week services sponsored by Bradley County Ministerial Alliance continued on Wednesday at First United Methodist Church.
Another service was held on Monday at First Free Will Baptist Church. The services will conclude at noon on Good Friday at First Baptist Church.
On Wednesday, organist Felecia Doster gave the prelude. Pastor Dixon Platt gave the welcome and Alexis Phillips sang “Who Is That Man?” Platt said Methodists have been gathering at the church’s present location in Warren since 1840.

Bro. Richard Barley of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church presented the message on the theme, “We have many ‘musts’ in our lives.” “He’s making an intercession on my behalf,” he said, quoting Luke 22.
Of Jews putting the blood of the lamb over doorposts for Passover, he said, “Had they not done that, the death angel would have come.”
“There are several things we must do to make heaven our home,” Barley said. “It is necessary that we must be born again. Without the preparations (for the Last Supper), the Passover meal would never have happened.”
He said the Upper Room was a safe place and added, “There’s nothing like being alone with God in a private place.”
Raven Harris of the Warren High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes gave the blessing for a meal served afterwards. Bro. Ricky Rauls of First Free Will Baptist Church gave the benediction.
