SEACBEC’s Criminal Justice’s Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) team was awarded 2nd place while competing at the Arkansas State SkillsUSA Competition in Hot Springs during April 10-12, 2023. Members of the CSI team received a Silver metal while being recognized on stage in front of approximately 2,000 student members and advisors. SEACBEC is proud of the 31 students that competed in content specific or leadership contests, but more importantly their representation of our schools and communities while on the trip. First place winners not only metals but also earns prizes and a free college tuition to attend the hosting college. This year University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College was the sponsoring school. In addition, the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton offered any Gold, first place winner a tuition waiver.
