Warren Lady Jacks fall to talented Stuttgart team

WARREN, Ark. – On Tuesday evening, April 11th, the Warren Lady Jacks played host to the Stuttgart Lady Ricebirds. The Lady Ricebirds featured pitcher Emma Banks, who will be signing with McNeese State University.

It was a tough night for the Lady Jacks. Stuttgart jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning. With one out, Ember Johnson drew a base on balls. Unfortunately, the Lady Jacks left her stranded.

In the top of the 2nd, the Lady Ricebirds picked up another run. The Lady Jacks went down in order.

The Lady Jacks held Stuttgart in check in the 3rd and 4th innings with outstanding defense and timely pitching from Hannah Taulbee. Warren went down 1-2-3 in the 3rd and 4th innings.

Stuttgart scored 2 runs in the 5th inning and 4 runs in the 6th to pick up the 10-0 win.

Lady Jack centerfielder Bracy Bickers was named the Greg Harton Shelter Insurance Player of the Game. She had three put outs while playing outstanding defense.

The Lady Jacks will play host to Watson Chapel on Wednesday, April 12th.
