James Michael Brumley age 64 of Warren, AR died Tuesday, June 20th 2023 as a result of an auto accident. He was born August 15th, 1958 in Warren, AR a son of the late Homer Brumley and Hattie A. Griffin Brumley. Mike was a lifelong avid guitar player; he spent many years playing jam sessions around the south and one of his favorite places was the Ground Zero Blues Club in Mississippi. One of Mikes favorite recordings was his recording with Delta Donnie, Free Bird by Leonard Skynyrd. Mike was a member of the First Baptist Church, a graduate of the Warren Public Schools and a friend to many many people. He is also preceded in death by a daughter Britney Brumley, brothers Edwin Brumley and Noel Brumley. A granddaughter Kambrey Brumley.
He is survived by his daughters, Brandi Brumley, Warren, AR and Breanne Kirksey, Arkadelphia, AR, a son Brian Morgan, Arkadelphia, AR, a sister Mary Faye King, Monticello, AR and 2 grandchildren Jayden Huddleston and Harper Huddleston. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was 10:00AM Saturday, June 24th, 2023 at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
