Bradley County Fair continues Saturday

WARREN, Ark. – The Bradley County Fair is in full swing at the Fair Grounds, offering a delightful weekend of festivities, exhibitions, and entertainment for families and friends to enjoy. With the annual Livestock Sale on Friday, September 8, the fair continues into Saturday.

The fairground is buzzing with excitement as exhibitor booths showcase a wide array of products, crafts, and talents. Visitors can marvel at the impressive creations of ribbon winners from various fair competitions, highlighting the immense talent and creativity within Bradley County.

Youth Empowerment and Delicious Food

On Friday, the Bradley County Extension Service staff hosted a luncheon for 4-H and FFA youth, treating them to a scrumptious feast of grilled hot dogs and hamburgers prepared by Steve Parnell. The event served as a platform to empower the young minds of the community while indulging in delectable treats.

Local Entertainment put on a show Friday

Friday evening was a feast for the ears with performances by local musician Avery Langford, followed by a Tomato Festival favorite local singer/songer Josie Hargis. The crowd was treated to a diverse range of musical talents, making it an unforgettable evening.

Royalty in Attendance

The Bradley County Fair welcomed its reigning royalty, Miss Bradley County Fair Leah Wolfe and Teen Miss Bradley County Fair Olivia Harrod, who graced various fair events with their presence.

Quilt Raffles and Much More

Two booths at the fair are currently selling tickets for a chance to win beautifully crafted quilts. The Warren Quilt Club and Buck Fever are the proud sponsors of these exciting raffles, and fairgoers are encouraged to stop by these booths to participate.

Food Trucks and Entertainment

Foodies are in for a treat with an array of food trucks offering mouthwatering options for both lunch and dinner.

Petting Zoo and Community Engagement

Friday’s petting zoo was a hit among the young and young at heart, offering a chance to get up close and personal with adorable animals. Local businesses have also joined the fair to connect with the community, offering sign-up opportunities for drawings and free handouts.

Smokey the Bear and Local Artistry

Adding a touch of environmental awareness, Smokey the Bear made an appearance on Friday, taking pictures with visitors and reminding everyone about fire safety. Additionally, the fair proudly displays artwork from local elementary schools, showcasing the creativity of the region’s young artists.

  • 8 am: Farmer’s Daughters Trade Days invite you to explore a unique shopping experience.
  • 2 pm: Don’t miss the Talent Show, featuring the most extraordinary talents from the area.
  • 5 pm: The Truck & Bike Show promises to be a crowd-pleaser, displaying impressive vehicles for enthusiasts to admire.
  • 5 pm: For food lovers, rib racks will be ready for purchase, ensuring that no one leaves hungry.
