WARREN, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjack Golf Team took a 3rd place finish in two consecutive tournaments this week. On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the team participated in the competition at the Magnolia Country Club, followed by another strong showing at Magellan in Hot Springs Village on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

At the Magnolia Country Club, the Warren team showcased their collective talent, finishing 3rd overall in the team standings. The team consisted of Rhett Clanton, who delivered an impressive performance and claimed 3rd place individually with a score of 76, and Carson Slaughter, who secured the 4th individual spot with a score of 80. Alongside them, Landon Milton and Maxx McGaha contributed to the team’s strong performance.
The Magnolia tournament featured fierce competition from other schools, including Magnolia, Nashville, Camden, Crossett, and Taylor, making Warren’s 3rd place finish all the more commendable.
Not content with their performance at Magnolia, the Warren Golf Team continued to impress at the Magellan tournament in Hot Springs Village. Carson Slaughter led the charge, clinching the title of overall medalist individually with an impressive score of 75. This stellar individual performance, along with solid contributions from the rest of the team, earned them another 3rd place finish in the team standings.
