Congratulations to Ashley Gilbert of the Labor and Delivery department for earning the BCMC Employee of the Month award for October! Ashley’s nomination stated: Ashley is always willing to help other staff out. She is a fairly new RN but is always willing to assist in other departments and help out in our department as much as she can. She is always willing to pick up extra shifts when others need off. She is very caring with her patients and their families. She makes sure that their needs are taken care of and they are comfortable. She has a positive attitude about her work and willingness to help other staff when in need. She has been a registered nurse less than 6 month but has shown amazing growth over that time. She is always looking for learning opportunities and does not mind getting her hands dirty. She wants to learn every aspect of nursing that she can. Ashley helps keep our area clean & organized and makes sure all of our daily logs are up to date and our area well stocked.
