ASP Troop F Commander Rick Neill addresses Rotary

The Rotary Club of Warren met for the first time after having two weeks off on Tuesday, Nov. 28 inside First Methodist Church. The group heard from Junior Rotarians from Warren High School to begin the program with Landon Milton presenting first and MaCalia Thomas following. It was also announced that the Rotary Club of Warren was recognized with a RISE Gold Community Award at a ceremony earlier that morning at the Warren Elementary School which honored Warren as a Gold Community of the RISE Arkansas literacy initiative.

The meeting moved forward with Rotarian Bob Milton introducing his program of Rick Neill, who is the Arkansas State Police Troop F Commander in Warren. Neill grew up in Warren and had a yearning to get back to the community before his career ended. He started out a police officer in Little Rock for a few years before moving to the Arkansas State Police. He spoke about his career, which included time on the Governor’s security detail, and touched on his role currently as Troop F Commander along with a brief history of the Arkansas State Police. He answered a number of questions from the crowd ranging from qualifications to become a State Trooper and the technology they use now to end the program.
