First Quarter Flourish:

The opening quarter set the tone for Warren’s dominance. Denton’s precision passing continued to be a thorn in Ozark’s side. A 30-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Jordan showcased not only Denton’s arm strength but also the versatility of Warren’s receiving corps. Juarez’s reliable foot added the extra point, extending Warren’s lead to 14-0.

Ozark quarterback Koby Wilbanks’ admirable scrambling efforts helped the Hillibillies find some success offesively on their next drive. They managed to advance to the Warren 32-yard line before the end of the quarter.

Second Quarter lead stretched:

Ozark finished off the drive that began late in the first quarter via a 13 yard rush, but they would come no closer to the orange and black over the course of the night.

Just a minute later, Denton, displaying poise in the pocket, unleashed a 41-yard touchdown pass to Tramond Miller, leaving the Ozark defense in disarray. Miller broke free of his man and pulled away on the go-route bomb. Juarez’s extra point pushed Warren’s lead to a commanding 21-7.

Warren’s special teams complemented the dominant offense, pinning Ozark deep in their territory. A 25-yard field goal by Juarez further padded Warren’s lead, leaving Ozark trailing 24-7. Denton, unfazed by the previous success, continued his quarterback clinic, finding Neon’dre Thomas for a 28-yard touchdown pass very late in the quarter. The first half concluded with Warren firmly in control, leading 31-7.

Third Quarter Triumph:

The third quarter witnessed Warren’s relentless pursuit of victory. Antonio Jordan, a key playmaker throughout the season, added a 3-yard touchdown run from a heavy package formation. That score triggered the implementation of the sportsmanship rule, meaning the clock ran continuously the remainder of the game. Warren’s lead swelled to an insurmountable 45-7.

However, the quarter was not without its challenges. Terence Roberson, a stalwart of Warren’s line, went down with an injured ankle at the 2:32 mark. He was carted off on a stretcher and taken for a further exam. No word yet as to the severity of his injury at the time of this article’s publication.
